Introduction

Singing Hearts Children's Choir (SHCC) is a non-profit organization established in 2008 by those who support public welfare and care about children's growth and education.

Through professional guidance, SHCC provides a pleasant learning environment for children to receive singing, acting and dance lessons. SHCC helps strengthen children's self-confidence and team spirit while developing their talent and potential in musical productions. Members of SHCC promote friendship internationally by participating in international cultural exchange activities and use their angelic voices and performances to move the world.

Li Weijie
Art Director

Associate Professor of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Postgraduate Supervisor, Deputy Director of the Art Coaching Teaching and Research Office of the Department of Vocal Music and Opera, signed pianist of Grotian (Gao Tian).
Weijie has acted as the Art Director of Singing Hearts since 2010. He participated in both the “Special Love” Charity Concert (serving as the artistic director and stage director), as well as a number of performance exchange programs in the US and Hong Kong. He also performed in many concerts, and coached art and master classes for our Choir.

Joshan Yao
“Think Tank” Program Director

Joshan has 25 years of experience in music and language education, and has acted as a stage manager for world-class musicians such as Cellist Yo-Yo Ma and Violinist Itzhak Perlman.
Joshan joined Singing Hearts in 2011, helping the Choir localize international education theory and practice. Over the years, she has participated in the production of teaching materials, established our teaching methodology, and bridged the cooperation and exchange between international education institutions and Singing Hearts.


Ye Ting
Education/Teaching Director


Social music education practitioner; "National Training Program" preschool music curriculum expert; Co-host of "Family Concert" in Cadillac Shanghai Concert Hall; Member of the compilation team of Shanghai Musicians Association Children's Singing Examination.
Ting joined Singing Hearts in 2010 and has extensive experience leading the curriculum development and practical teaching for the Choir. She has led the group to travel the United States, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places for exchange performances and winter and summer camp activities. She developed our internal choral course “Notes from our Hearts”. During the past 10 years, she coordinated the “Special Love” concert and organized a great number of showcases and musical dramas. In 2017, she was sent to the United States to participate in the directing course of professional music troupes. Since 2022, she was also involved in both the optimization and creation of the entire curriculum system as well as the Choir’s original plays.

Tang Xiaofeng
HRA Director


Xiaofeng has been working in the field of the children's music education for more than 20 years. She has been recognized and honored by the Shanghai Municipal government many times and participated in various social music activities.
Xiaofeng joined Singing Hearts in 2011 and has developed professionally while being part of the Choir. She was involved in developing a number of teaching materials and compilations. Since 2014, she has been in charge of managing of the Choir, and planned various large-scale activities and charitable activities.

Zhang Si
IT & PR Director

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Technology, Fudan University; Master Degree in Finance and Management, University of St Andrews, United Kingdom; Served in the financial industry for nearly 10 years.
Si joined Singing Hearts in 2020 and is responsible for planning activities and daily management, organizing winter and summer camps, “Special Love” concerts, as well as the showcases for the Creative Department and Musical Department. She leads the digitalization of the Choir’s “Think Tank”, the establishment of management process and the expansion of external channels to spread the mission of Singing Hearts.
