Never underestimate the young. Musical Theatre Class A, you guys really brought it tonight. It was such a pleasant surprise for us to watch you shine onstage after a year¡¯s worth of work.

In ¡°Hard Knock Life¡± from Annie, we tried out a rock ¡¯n roll arrangement for the first time. They took everyday items like mops and sheets and turned them into props for an awesome dance routine.

Little Mermaid

In Little Mermaid, our little actors and actresses dressed up as adorable sea creatures, free to swim to their hearts¡¯ content.

The Sound of Music

In a ballroom scene from The Sound of Music, Maria played games with the Captain¡¯s children and led them to sing the classic ¡°So Long Farewell.¡±

I am proud of your moments offstage as much of your moments  on  onstage. You managed to discipline yourselves, to change costumes, props, and microphones with ease, and to keep the wings in order. Above all, you concentrated in the moment and put on a great show.

I must give thanks to our parents volunteering behind the scenes. They gave up the chance to see their own children perform just to make the show better for everyone else. In this act of devotion, you set an example for all of our students.

I would also like to thank our teachers for always putting themselves out there in the classroom. I feel confident with you in control of the music, lighting and LED display. We make a strong team. Let¡¯s keep it going.

Singing Hearts is 10 years old¡­

It is our evergreen calling to plant in our children a seed of love for authenticity, kindness, and beauty. May it take root deep in their hearts and bloom in due time.
