On the evening of May 10, the “2025 ‘Special Love’ Concert ” was held at the Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall. This marked the 13th year that the Singing Hearts Children's Choir in collaboration with and the Shanghai Women Journalists' Choir, have joined hands to stage this heartwarming event.

The concert kicked off with the playful melody of “Calico Cat”, followed by performances including “Alley Games” and “Hawaiian Beach Party”. Then, excerpts from “Seussical” and other musicals breathed new life into classic stories with the kids' pure voices. No rushed last-minute practice—every note performed on stage comes from their daily efforts, flowing out naturally in song.

During the charity chapter, charity ambassador Ping An joined the children in singing “Stars Never Blink”, conveying care for left-behind children. Dr. Wang Zuoxin, a renowned soprano, presented a solo of “You Raise Me Up”, which resonated beautifully with the children’s chorus. As the final piece “I Love You, China” rang out, all performers and the audience sang in unison, creating an emotional and stirring scene.

Over the past 13 years, proceeds from the concert have been donated through the Han Public Welfare Special Fund of the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation. The funds have supported the legacy of the Dong Grand Chorus at Xiaohuang Primary School in Guizhou, the conservation of endangered species in Fanjingshan, and the provision of nutrition and hope for children in remote areas.

This annual musical gathering embodies the love and efforts of countless people, nurturing the childhood and dreams of young children.
