On May 24, 2026, the prestigious Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall became a sanctuary of warmth and melody. The event, titled "Special Love for the Special You," was more than a performance; it was a journey of goodwill brought to life by SHCC, the Shanghai Journalists' Choir, and the Fudan University Alumni Choir.

📖 A New Chapter in Music Education

Before the concert began, a significant milestone was celebrated: the launch of the new music education book series, Voices on the Heart: Children's Singing Enlightenment.

• The Vision: Authored by Ye Ting, the Teaching Director of SHCC, this three-volume set is designed for children aged 4–8.
• The Method: It integrates world-renowned teaching methods like Orff, Dalcroze, and Kodály to make music education accessible and joyful.
• The Impact: The project supports the "Happy Singing Class" charity initiative in Changzhou, ensuring music reaches more children.

🎤 Highlights from the Stage

The concert was a tapestry of innocence and artistic excellence. SHCC opened with The Story of the Little Bird, a suite that captured the imagination of the audience with its playful and tender harmonies.

• Global Melodies: From the whimsical Umbrella to the beloved Ponyo on the Cliff, the children showcased a blend of childlike innocence and technical skill.
• Theatrical Flair: The Musical Theatre Department transported the audience to magical worlds with performances from The Jungle Book, The King's New Clothes, and The Wizard of Oz.
• Grand Finale: The evening concluded with a powerful collaboration featuring Special Charity Ambassador Li Qi, performing Seasons of Love, followed by the moving Don't Cry For Me Argentina.

❤️ More Than Music

While the stage was dazzling, the heart of the event lay in the connections made. From the dedicated parent volunteers to the teachers guiding every note, the event was a testament to the power of community.

As the final notes of Voices on the Heart faded, the message was clear: music is a bridge that connects us all. We look forward to continuing this journey of love and melody in 2027.
