From June 24th to 28th, 2023, the Musical Department showcased its 2022 academic year performance at the Sunshine Theater. The Sunshine Theater transformed alternately into a fairy tale world and a mysterious jungle, allowing attendees to explore its wonders.

Class of Musical 1A presented the story of "Pinocchio". The puppet Pinocchio, dreaming of becoming a real boy, embarks on adventures and faces challenges, often plagued by temptations and deceit. Through loyalty and courage, he eventually transforms into a kind-hearted boy. The children's vibrant rendition through song and dance filled this musical with both surprise and emotion, teaching viewers about perseverance, transcending limitations, and finding their true selves.

Class of Musical 1B's "Welcome to the Jungle" offers a wild adventure! The protagonists unexpectedly find themselves in a perilous jungle, where they face numerous challenges, tackle their fears, and aim to find their way back home. Within this jungle, they encounter unique animals and enchanting landscapes, demonstrating their interaction with the jungle through music and dance. In the end, they recognize the significance of unity and courage, overcoming challenges together to safely return home.

Class of Musical 2's "Mary Poppins" was a delightful spectacle, brimming with magic and vitality. Set in London, two playful children are led by the magical nanny, Mary Poppins, into a world of incredible adventures. Guided by Mary Poppins' enchantments and wisdom, the children learn the value of family love and respect. Through their songs and dances, they celebrate the wonders of love and miracles. Notably, the Class of Musical 2's performance had a dual cast, and both shows on the 27th and 28th were sold out, offering a magnificent presentation.

As the performance concluded, in keeping with Singing Hearts' longstanding tradition, the teachers bid a heartfelt farewell to the senior members who have been with them for the past decade. Many had misty eyes, but the prevailing feeling was one of contentment and profound emotion. Each student has left an indelible mark on the teachers' hearts, displaying bravery, passion, and talent. Your brilliance on stage will forever shine in our memories. Remember, graduation is not a goodbye, as Singing Hearts remains your welcoming home.
